Brooke Johnston is known for her work on Rush - Alles für den Sieg (2013), Impostor (2011) and The Day After Tomorrow (2004).

Won the title of Miss United Kingdom and competed at the Miss Universe Pageant in 2005. Also represented Canada at the Miss Earth Pageant in 2003. This makes her the only person in pageant history to have two major international titles from different countries. Has been a vegetarian since the age of 15 and is a spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and History from McGill University in Montreal. Also has a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Westminster in London. Studied acting at Lee Strasberg in New York City. Was born in St. Catharines Ontario, Canada but has dual citizenship with Great Britain. Is also a DJ and producer of house music. Was a journalist embedded with NATO and worked at a Washington DC bureau covering the 2008 US Presidential Primaries. Is an avid chess player once drawing with Russian grandmaster Anatoly Karpov in Switzerland.
